Sekia Hills

Here are a few pictures from when we went to Sekia Hills with Make Horitora and D1GP Driver & QuickStyle Team Mate Iwai. Sekia is another amazing track in Southern Japan, Kyushu. It is located about an hour south of Fukuoka city by highway using the Nankan exit. Sekia Hills used to feature a pro shop and a full feature shop just in case you have any issues with your car, while at the track. When I was there for the last time about a year and half ago they were having a close-out sale.        ;-( bad for them but many good parts for QuickStyle ;-) . On event days there is also a concession stand that serves very delicious food.
Like Most Japanese tracks it's not the biggest but for sure the first corener takes some skill to enter in top of 3rd gear @ full lock and little foot brake and NO HAND BRAKE if your skilled enough to keep pushing you until you hit the next inside clipping point, slam 2nd gear, at that time your pretty pumped up because you didnt hang it wide and slam into the 2nd corner and mess your rig up you continue to run out smoothly! Youtube has plenty of good videos.

Entrance up the hill to Sekia Hills. You would never think a drift track would be set up like this. There is also a closed down shopping mall accross from the hotel.

NEO FORCE AE86 From Hiroshima. Has made his way up the rankings of D1SL and now competes in D1GP.

My friends located in Yamagichi @ Make Horitora Dropped a SR20det in the old skool Daihatsu Charmant. S14 Subframe and one off roll cage, mounts and shaft.

Team MMM from Hiroshima as well. 2.2L TDO6-25G with HKS Sequential Dog Box. She screaaams!

QuickStyle & R.Y.O @ Setonaikai Circuit

Whats everyone got going on this sunday? I think most of us motor heads are normally at the track or wrenching on our own car in the garage. Last weekend some of the QuickStyle guys from Yamaguchi and R.Y.O from Hiroshima made the 4-5 hour drive to Setonaikai Circuit on Shikoku Island to meet up with Total Garage Dai and some of the Doriten editors. I have driven this track a bunch of times from 2008-2010 and competed some events likes Doriten Challenge, Garage Dai Cup. Track is crazy fun starting with a 3rd gear pull down the straight then full lock, full throttle, max angle entries topped off with a wall ride and a very long first corner. Some great tusio battles here for sure. I encourage everyone to make it to this track at some point! Here is a clip from QuickStyle member Iwai in his D1GP KP61 kill'N it (2010) and pictures from last weekend.

Doriten Judges ready to see what kinda heat the drivers are gonna bring!

Veiw from the judges tower. Sometimes the boys n gals come in a little hot into the first turn. The dirt mound/ wall you see in the bottom of the picture is the clipping point. Well coming in hot turns into a wall ride and then barrell rolling your machine into the 2nd corner!
Iwai catchn some Z's before destroying the compeition

Rise & Shine, lets get this hog ready to roll!. Iwai putting some new Advan Neova's shoes put on his KP61 D1GP rabbit!

And were off!

Gotta love the NK Company S14

Good friend of mine Michan from D1SL Ladies Series, Current ranked 2nd! She also competes in the D1SL series as well! Total Garage Dai from Shikoku Island has been sponsoring Michan for a few years now.

Itodai is a model in the making. I think my buddy Dustin Millard in Arizona has come competition now! Itodai competes in D1SL, MSC Challenge and many local events. He's a monster by Japanese standards but has the heart of a chicken when it comes to events! He's known best for it. Haha

QuickStyle S15 @ Englishtown Teaser

Over the weekend I was at a friends house and got a few request via Facebook for a video teaser of the QuickStyle S15. Just so happens I am HORRIBLE with editing but Otto Williams with Offset Phimz that I met a few months back happens to have a good taste. Its kinda funny how I met Otto though. I think it was a few weeks before Club Loose East Coast Bash and I was trying to find a good videographer. My neighbor show'd me something and I was there is no way I can get down with that, haha. Well least to say, I had no idea. Here is the latest short vid he put together. Let us know what you think!
